國際交流計畫簡介
2018國際交流計畫「社交町x町交社」 黃金町地區管理中心x福利社
黃金町地區管理中心和福利社,兩者皆嘗試透過藝術和當地社群建立關係,而切入點各自不同,福利社提供年輕藝術家作品發表的機會,並創出新的交流平台,作為藝術空間參與社區。而黃金町區域管理中心則透過展場以及藝術家駐留機構等各種的場地,漸入社區。今次的國際交流計畫「社交町x町交社」,藉由彼此在對方的空間舉辦展覽,考察「社」和「町」的活動之異同性,探討彼此未來之可能性。

“Area meets Space ⇄ Space meets Area (she jiao ding ⇄ ding jiao she)”
Koganecho Area Management Center X FreeS Art Space
FreeS Art Space and KAMC deal with their own region in different ways. In this exchange program both of them introduce artists related to each other through two exhibitions in each space. The program makes us to consider ourselves, through encountering each other’s method and difference; such as cultural backgrounds and contrasting scales of approach as “space” and “area”.
策展論述
本展為六位現在或曾經在黃金町駐留創作的藝術家群展。由左向右寫的「黃金反射町」,以及透過鏡面反射似的「nwoT noitcelfeR dolG」組成一對的展覽標題,除了連想到在黃金町創作的作品本身,就像是照映地區的鏡子似的狀態,也同時回溯到日治時期,商店看板文字的讀法是從右到左一般。就像兩種不同的文化交錯而生的看板標示,此次展覽探討將在一時空背景下創作產生的作品,展示在不同脈絡的空間之意義,嘗試成為嶄新的接觸空間(contact zone)
About the exhibition
The title Gold Reflection Town 町射反金黄, which is a group show of six artists related with Koganecho (Gold Town, 黄金町), is composed of “Gold Reflection Town” and its Chinese letters “黄金反射町” reflected like in a mirror. It implies the fact that works created there somehow reflect an aspect of the town. It also reminds us of letters on a board read from right to left that appeared in the age of Taiwan under the Japanese government. The letters seem to represent the contact zone of two different cultures. Referring to it, this exhibition aims to reflect the works in another context that present a certain meaning in a specific area, and to be the new contact zone today.
黃金町地區管理中心
黃金町地區管理中心是推動「藝術作為社區營造方法」的非營利團體。和地區居民、警察、行政單位、企業及大學共同合作。除了藝術展覽「黃金町藝術市集」,還有藝術家長期駐留創作項目,以及向地區開放的交流項目,持續進行日常生活層面的社區營造活動。同時致力於建立和亞洲及海外文化據點的網絡。
Koganecho Area Management Center (KAMC)
KAMC is a non-profitable organization that promotes “community development through the arts”. It works in collaboration with the local people, police, city government, companies and universities. In addition to the Koganecho Bazaar that is its annual art festival, it runs Artist in Residence (AIR) program, Koganecho Art School where provides learning and interchanging opportunity for the local people , and other activities regarding community building.

Yuya Obata
1980年出生於日本九州的福岡。2000年開始展出油畫風景作品。2008轉移據點到橫濱黃金町。主要收集周邊環境的街道和自然景色,組合成創作的題材。
Born in Fukuoka, 1980. Obata begun exhibiting his oil, landscape paintings around 2000. In 2008, he moved to Koganecho, Yokohama. Since that time, he has mainly taken as his motif the neighborhood and natural scenery around the town.
土居大記
Hiroki Doi
作品透過擷取日常生活中些微的現象,編織再生於空間裡。
觀者在此空間裡體驗「察覺」之行為。
這樣的體驗行為模糊了已知及無知間的界線。
藉此表現對察覺的喜悅,以及對無知的寬容。
My works extract trivial phenomenon in everyday life, and represent it in a certain space. In the space, people might experience “realizing” something. The experience make obscure a boundary between knowing and unknowing. I want to present joyful feeling of the realizing and tolerance for ignorance.

在平面作品上描繪現實空間的場面,並延伸創作立體作品。透過藝術創作同時也喚起當地被忽略的記憶。平面和立體作品透過彼此的距離而產生的平衡感成立。可視和不可視,平面和立體,穿梭於多數現象呈現的單一現實,以及單一現象呈現的多樣現實。
I depict scenes from reality on two-dimensional surfaces, which then become the basis for my three-dimensional works. For me, it is also an act of evoking memories that are usually overlooked in the land that I have chosen to depict. The two-dimensional works achieve balance through their proximity to and distance from one another. I enjoy that which can and cannot be seen, flat surfaces and solid forms, how multiple phenomena become one reality, and one phenomenon becomes many realities.
人見紗操
Saaya Hitomi
1987年於日本東京出生。畢業於武藏野美術大學,東京藝術大學大學院。思考「他者」作為自身的一部分的可能性,透過影像裝置並結合其他媒材進行創作。參與群馬青年雙年展2015,搖滾和藝術的蜜月期(HAJIMARI ART CENTER),黃金町藝術市集2017等。
Born in Tokyo, 1987. Graduating from Department of Arts Policy and Management at Musashino Art University, she entered the Graduate School at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2014. By using conceptual projects as a medium, she involves participation of others in order to create performance pieces, which she records and presents as video installation.
柳成俊
SungJun Yoo
2000年畢業於韓國藝術綜合學校影像院電影科。作為電影導演和多媒體藝術家,跨越電影、表演和美術領域,藉由影像言語表現人的故事和情感。
Graduating from Department of Film & Multimedia(BFA), KNUA(Korea National University of Arts) in 2000. As a progressive film director, his creativity is displayed not only in film scene but also art and theater scene. He makes an effort to show human narrative and affection with vocabulary from moving images.
楊珪宋
Keiso Yo
1985年出生於日本愛知縣的在日中國人家庭。
2003-2009年於名古屋造形大學,名古屋造形大學大學院學習當代藝術,2013年開始自學陶藝創作。作品重視「如何理解作為生物的人類」,以生物學探討人類的肉體、心理和行為。作為生物的人類、自然產物的人類,享受對此森羅萬象的發現行為。
Born in Aichi, 1985, having Chinese nationality. Studied contemporary art at undergraduate and graduated school of Nagoya Zokei University of Art and Design 2003-2009, and started creating ceramics by herself. The central concept in her creation is “to understand human beings as a living creature having natural and biological structure”. Exploring with the idea , she regards her creation as joyful activities to find out humans as biological, natural and cycling ecological matters.
