Her work explores contradictions between the inner self and outer appearance while extending to satirising issues such as the boundary between reality and illusion, distorted human nature and historical repetition. In an attempt to explore new forms of traditional Eastern aesthetics, the artist creates a grotesque landscape that symbolises the blind masses through the depiction of hunchbacks, using copperplate etching and the effects of burning incense as primary forms of expression.
